Bio

I established my studio in Bristol in 2013. Working within craft and digital processes I create innovative interior textile products and artworks using printed pattern and the forgotten technique of tufting. Tufting is a technique most will remember as the candlewick bedspread, revived here by combining exquisite wool cloth and fine yarns.

I work with interior designers and private clients to produce bespoke products and artworks alongside collaborations with manufacturers.

An engagement with materials and the process of making is what drives my design practice. The work is designed in response to my fascination with textural landscapes and interpreting them through drawing, photography, filmmaking and mark making into stitch and print. I employ traditional and contemporary processes – wet print, digital print, laser-etching, machine and hand embroidery. I seek to produce textiles that will delight in their intricacy and tactility, and that will bring life and intrigue to public and private spaces.
